“The location on Mae Haad Beach is undeniably a draw, putting you steps from both the sand and Koh Ma's famous snorkeling. I appreciate the resort's attempt to blend modern comforts with traditional Phangan design. slow service unfriendly receptionist

The restaurant service felt slow. I waited over twenty minutes for a coffee each morning. The receptionist was unfriendly. We ordered taxis through the reception every evening, but one night they tried to overcharge us for ONE kilometer when we made a mistake. We had used them all week.

The reception area needs updating. It resembled checking in at a campsite. the restaurant area also needs updates. It wasn't clean. we decided to eat elsewhere. the pool area looked tired, so we spent time on the beach instead, but the pool should have been better.
